Terms of Service

What this service is
Days Out NI lists upcoming events, attractions, and places to visit across Northern Ireland. Event information is gathered from public sources — council websites, venue pages, tourism boards, social media — and from posters uploaded by users. It's a free service, available without an account.
Accuracy of event listings
We try hard to keep listings accurate, but the original source — a council page, a venue website, a Facebook event — can change without warning. Times move, prices change, dates get rescheduled, weather cancels things. Always check directly with the venue or organiser before you make plans, especially if you're travelling or have paid a ticket.
Days Out NI is not the organiser of any event we list and not affiliated with the venues. If you have a refund or complaint, that has to go to the people running the event.
Uploading a poster
When you tap the + button and submit a photo of a poster, flyer, or sign, you confirm that:
- You have the right to share the image. It's a public-facing poster meant to advertise the event, not a private photo of someone.
- The event is real and the details on the poster are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- The image is appropriate for a family audience. Nothing sexual, violent, hateful, or otherwise inappropriate.
- You're happy for the image and the extracted event details to appear in our public feed.
We screen every uploaded image with an automated check, and borderline submissions are reviewed by a human before they go live. We can remove anything for any reason, especially if it turns out to be misleading, spam, or inappropriate.
If you upload something by mistake or want it taken down, email hello@aeonreon.com.
What you can't do
- Spam the feed with fake or low-effort uploads — there's a five-uploads-per-day limit per device.
- Upload anything that violates someone else's copyright, privacy, or trademark.
- Use the app to harass, defame, or promote anything harmful or illegal.
- Scrape the data and republish it as your own. Personal use is fine; redistribution isn't.
Removing your data
If you want a saved-events list to disappear, clear your browser data or uninstall the app — it's all stored on your device. To unsubscribe from the weekly digest, tap the unsubscribe link in any email. To have an uploaded poster removed, email hello@aeonreon.com.
Service availability
Days Out NI is provided as-is, without warranty. We're a small operation. The service might be slow, the data might go stale, the server might be down for an evening. We don't guarantee uptime or accuracy. If that matters to you for a specific event, double-check with the venue.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service — missed events, wrong directions, weather, anything. The information here is a guide, not a contract.
Changes to these terms
If we update these terms, the new date will appear at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes counts as acceptance.
