Paid indoor soft play, all weather

Indoor play is paid and split by age: at the prices listed it runs roughly £7 for ages 4-10, £6 for under-4s and £1.50 for under-1s, with one adult free per paying child (check current prices, they change). The barn covers babies through to age 10, with separate baby, toddler and junior areas plus a sports court for football and basketball. There are baby, toddler and junior zones, so under-3s get their own space. Sessions run about 90 minutes, Wednesday to Saturday; you can book online or walk in if there are spaces. The Linen Tearoom does breakfasts, lunches and hot drinks, with seating for supervising adults. Bring grippy socks to be safe, as most soft play needs them.

What to bring

  • 🧦Grippy socksA pair of anti-slip socks per child — most centres need them on the frame, and often for adults too.
  • 👕A spare topBall pools and big slides make for warm, mucky kids — a change of top saves a soggy drive home.
  • 💳Card or cashFor entry and the café — the coffee is the grown-up reward.
  • 🚰A water bottleClimbing and sliding is thirsty work, and there is a wipe-down at the end of it.

The story

About the centre

Laganvale Farm is a family-run farm in the Lagan Valley between Belfast and Lisburn, combining an all-weather indoor soft play barn with outdoor farm attractions. The Big Barn caters for babies up to age 10 across separate play zones, alongside a sports court and party rooms.

Outside, the farm runs animal paddocks, an activity tunnel, go-karts and a seasonal maize maze, with the Linen Tearoom on site for food and drinks. Outdoor areas open on Saturdays and through school holidays, so the indoor play runs year-round whatever the weather.
